Art & Soul displays Art work at Whitehall for World Mental Health Day

It’s been a pretty amazing week for Art & Soul who were invited to create a ‘pop-up’ exhibition at Whitehall for this year’s World Mental Health Day. With three days to prepare, the group combined efforts to create a synergistic selection of artwork, digital slideshow and background information on our group. We also took the opportunity to display some of the pieces that used visual imagery to challenge the use of negative mental health terms.
Using table top easels for display, the group curated a lovely and engaging exhibition that drew visitors onto and filled the room. The group chatted with guests such as Frank Bruno and after listening to several moving and commemorative speeches, shared the exhibition with Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, who then posed for ‘selfies’ with Clarissa and group photos with Art & Soul.

All in all, a very memorable accolade for Art & Soul and a superb opportunity to share our work and creativity with a wide and listening audience.
