Flow of Life Exhibition

Many congratulations to all of the artists who took part in this year’s Art & Soul Exhibition, Flow of Life. Exhibiting your work publicly can be a strangely mixed emotional experience.  There can be a certain trepidation before actually committing to showing work publicly, yet the feeling, as many participants clearly discovered at the Private view  is often followed by feelings of exhilaration, self-efficacy and confidence.

Several of our artists selected to sell their work, with many being snapped up on opening night. A giant “community canvas” also provided an in-house event as guests to the event (including the former Secretary of State for Business,Vince Cable) picked up brush and paint and made their mark.

We would like to say a special thank you to the family of Kate Hartnup – a long standing member of the Art & Soul group and to whose memory the show was dedicated – for joining us at the private view. Many thanks also the Mark De Novellis, who curated the show and all of the gallery staff who make not only our biennial exhibition, but also our weekly programme a continuing success.

Flow of Life runs until 11th June, 2016, The Stables Gallery, Orleans House Gallery, Riverside, Twickenham, TW1 3DJ.
